Moeller Zinc Primer is a self-etching phosphate primer (chromate free) that chemically bonds with aluminium and steel, forming a corrosion-resistant base coat. Phosphate Primer performs just as well as the discontinued zinc chromate, make it an excellent and safe alternative. It is ideal for protecting outboards and stern drives, offering excellent resistance to the harsh marine environment both above and below the waterline.

This primer is suitable for aluminium, steel, and iron surfaces, especially welded joints, providing outstanding durability and abrasion resistance. With its quick-dry formula, it improves the bonding of colour coats, helps fight rust, and levels nicks and hairline cracks. Containing a high percentage (95%) of zinc, it ensures maximum protection against solvents and abrasives.
